Skyrim (and my bitch)

You may have seen the adverts on buses and billboards pushing this game.  It isn't all hype.  It is one of the most amazing games I've ever played.  And I've played a few.

It's difficult to know where to start, the game and aspects of it are immense.  Let's concentrate on my "companion".  The are various buddies you can hook up with through the game.  I have my special one.

Look, here he is!

This poor fellow had his family burial ground desecrated and needed a hand sorting out the nasties.  I was happy to oblige.  He is now mine.

I mainly get him to carry my heavy shit, make him go first into battle, serve as bate for wild animals and other humiliating and potentially deadly chores.  I've taken to dressing him up recently.  You can see the lovely little golden number I've provided him with.

It's not all domination on my part.  As you can see in the picture, we have gone into the wild for a little camping trip!

So, if you want a bitch for Christmas, I highly recommend Skyrim.  I play it on the PC and it runs really well.  Can't comment on Xbox or PS3 as I haven't seen it run on those.  I should also mention it is a first person (or 3rd person) RPG.

Everyone should have a bitch.

Zombie Update

Managing to keep up with the zombie movements out there.

First up is season 2 The Walking Dead.

Starting to lose the will to watch this show.  Season 1 was fab, big ideas and good stories.  I get a feeling the budget has been cut for this one.  They have been on a farm for 6 episodes now and I'm getting bored of it.  Not that much zombie action and frustrating story threads.  It should be about desperate survival, not sitting down to nice dinners at the farm and shagging the daughter (not at the dinner table).

I'll stick with it but it is not doing much for me so far.

African zombies next!  The Dead.

I enjoyed this film.  A good old fashioned zombie film, with loads of zombies and desperate survival story.  Special effects were pretty good (don't watch while eating dinner) and some nice cinematography.  The zombies were the slowest I've ever seen in a film however.  How they caught anyone to eat really amazes me.  Anyhow, apart from that and a bit of shady acting it was back to basics and I appreciate that.

Nice one.

Stakeland.

Okay, it is about vampires rather than zombies.  They are both undead and will bite you.  Actually the vamps in this are more like zombies.  Mindless, nasty things that just want to feed.

Again, another story of apocalypse and survival.  It is nothing fancy nor ground breaking but I enjoyed it. Some decent acting and some real good antagonists.  Kept a good pace throughout and a kept me hooked.

Stakeland is my favourite out of the three.  Thanks to Ricky for putting me on to it.

Stakeland.  Go on, guess what happens next.

Getting Shot in the Hand

Watching a bit of crap Film4 60s Western shows a guy getting shot in the hand. He shakes it off like it's a painful splinter.

Fail.

Roll about the ground screeming in intense pain like you have been shot in the hand. Fucking nonce.

That's the 60's acting for you. Good enough for the White House though!

Humiliation

One of the greatest scenes in films history cheapened by PC World.  Why are the things I hold dear systematically destroyed and humiliated?

Cut her head off!  She could do with losing a few pounds.

Please, compare with what I hold dear...

I'm motivated!

Arse!
